Sending feelers out

So, I'm starting to get a little tired of the severe lack of cash I have at my disposal, so I've decided that I'm going to be moving out at the end of my lease, which will be around about june-julyish. Considering how extremely expensive housing is in Melbourne, to actually reduce costs I'm pretty much going to need to go into shared housing, so I'm looking for a housemate!

I'm probably going to start looking fairly soon, certainly within the next month. I'd probably be more looking to establish a new share-house, but I'm not averse to hearing about spots in established sharehouses (I may be bringing whitegoods into the house though)

What I'm cool with: A goodly amount! I'm queer-, poly-, kink-, trans- and just-about-anything-else-friendly - there's not much I'm violently opposed to, and I try to accept everyone, regardless of identity. I'm also pet-friendly, and conversation-friendly.

What I'm looking for: I am a bisexual, polyamorous, kinky male, and you need to be cool with all of the above. So, Queer-, poly- and kink-friendly is a must. Also, gotta be non-smoker - I'm not a fan of smoke, and not_in_denial has health problems exacerbated by smoke, and he'll be around a reasonable amount. If you're geeky that's a plus, but it's by no means essential. I'm possibly interested in acquiring pets, so you need to at least be able to consider pets in your home. I also work full-time, so if you're a night-owl, you'll need to be a quiet one!

So, I'd like to ask people to keep their ears open, and if you hear of anyone looking to move out, or looking for housemates themselves, get in touch with me!

I'm definitely keen! I'm almost certainly going to move to Melbourne after my mum's house is sold (within the next month or two, I'm sticking around to help pack up and whatnot).
I'm friendly to all above hyphens, no smoke, very geeky, and want kitten.

Is ok with pets synonomys with ok with cats? cos I'm quiet fond of lizards, rats and fish.

I'm fine with most small pet-like creatures (although fishtanks you take into your own hands!). Admittedly, if I do get a cat, this may have to be updated - cats and small pet-like creatures don't mix spectacularly well!

As for slob-based things - I'm a bit of a slob myself (I call myself "kinda neat"), and am not to fond of unpleasant scents myself, so I'm cool with all these things! :)

When you say "I'm possibly interested in acquiring pets, so you need to at least be able to consider pets in your home." are you using "pets" as a synonym for "cats"? (ie "you must be willing to live with a cat")

Cos I've no pets and I'd enjoy living with most rodents, reptiles, birds, fish, insects, outdoor sleeping dogs and a variety of other creatures. Probably pretty much everything except cats. (shed cat skin sneezy sneezy yuk)

Any I'm not ok with a number of pleasant smells that make me sneeze. Key allergens are incense, perfume (including deodorants and many personal hygene products) and scented cleaning products.

As you've probably worked out by now, I'm probably destined to move out alone .
