Got nothing to add here except support and good wishes - I totally get where you're coming from, but I'm still not sure that I can give any useful advice (I'm two thirds of my way through a master's degree in accounting, when I started in science and thought that was all I wanted to do, and am already planning my arts degree with majors in creative writing and whatever else looks interesting *for fun* once this is finished).
