Wonderful Anagrams/Birthday Report

[livejournal.com profile] morsla recently had some fun with the Internet Anagram Server, so naturally I thought I'd do the same.

Some of the more amusing ones:

UNREADABLE EVIL HOST
DATEABLE VELOUR SHIN
EVADABLE HEROIN SLUT
HANDLEBAR SUITE LOVE
ABASHED VIOLENT RULE
UNAVOIDABLE SHELTER
ADVISABLE HOTEL RUNE
LOADABLE TREE VISHNU
ADORABLE SLEUTH VINE

Well, with a name as long as mine, it seems you can get quite a bit out of it!

And, of course, I thought I'd give a brief rundown on the big party!

There were lots of people. Mum and her friend Yvonne spent a lot of the day getting my backyard sorted for the night, while I was the subject of a surprise visit from my good friend in Adelaide, Aaron.

You see, it seems that Lara really wanted to surprise me. So, without telling me, she got in contact with Aaron. Aaron, it seems agreed and prepared to come over. On my actual birthday, he rang me, talked about stuff, and I "told" Aaron about my party. He stated that he'd "see what I can do". To complete the sadism, Lara made sure to tell me "don't get your hopes up, a week's not a lot of time..."

Cutting back to Saturday Afternoon, Aaron decides to walk through my back Gate, after taking the bus from Adelaide, Lara picking him up from Frankston station, and the two of them hanging out at Lara's place for a bit.

Impressed? Hell yah.

But back to the party. 'Twas good, a few people I didn't expect turned up, such as Andy, and I noted that perhaps I should have put the details on the MURP mailing list as well as Korner. Thus the result of my slackiness. Not to say it was a bad party or anything, it was a nice, small party, expertly set in my backyard. The speeches were great, my entire family deciding to each give a story, as well as Aaron and Lara. So, yeah. Everyone now knows why I sleep naked. Now, if you weren't there, I feel justified in leaving that dangling...

After speeches, a little after midnight, there was an apparently abortive attempt to throw me into a fountain. They were apparently going to do this at the Funeral home's fountain near my place, then realised it was bone dry, so drove all the way to Monash, where we had a brush with security. Amazingly, despite approaching the security guards from the wrong side (ie, from behind the boom gate, where no same driver would get to, [livejournal.com profile] ib_stormcaller not being one), managed to get out with no more than some weird looks. Thankfully, the ruckus caused by that meant that they never did throw me into the pool. A good thing.

After that, the party sort of just vanished, and was reduced to me, Lara, Aaron, Justin, Tif and Damien Beresford talking over the firepot (oh yeah, there was fire). Ended up staying around that fire until 5:30, where I finally decided that I wanted to go to bed before sunrise.

Oh, THE PRESSIES!!!

The big Group gift was by far the schway cool one. It was lots of stuff:

Game Boy Advance (Legend of Zelda Limited Edition)
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap GBA game
Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures Gamecube game
Sony Ericsson T560 Mobile phone (so coool! Am now starting to work on photo-ising my contact list...)

So, yeah, fun time all round. Have I told you all how much I love you all?
