I'm a procrastinator. I suspect it's effectively hard-wired into me.
Usually, I can get around it. When I have an assignment due, I usually build into the rush time the amount of time I'll be procrastinating by visiting one web site or the other. This isn't an issue most of the time.
However, Exams generally mean that you should spend as much time as you can stomach studying, yes? Well...
I try. I honestly do. I can keep going for about an hour. Two hours, if I'm really pushing myself. Then I suddenly can't do study, and get a compulsion to do something that really doesn't help (like, say, updating my livejournal).
Usually, I'd not worry, and like usual, build into the cram time the time I'm going to be wasting on other things. But I have 3 exams in 3 days, no swotvac, And at least two subjects that I have to learn everything about, because I was slack this semester.
Oh, how I wish I got swotvac at Monash! My revision for my first exam was Yesterday. My Exam for that subject is on Monday (as in, less than 48 hours from now. 44.5 to be as accurate as I'm willing to be). Then, I have another exam 19 hours after that one. Then, another one, 23 hours after that one.
After that, I'm clear of course, but then again, I'm trying to actually do well.
On the plus side, I have the house to myself. Theoretically, the house has a minimised set of distractions. Perhaps I should have asked my brothers to take the hard drive from the computer with them so I couldn't use it?
I'm not liking this. I much prefer 4 exams over 4 weeks, as opposed to 3 exams in three days!
