The Quick Update

Just a brief thingo, I'll get actual exam report eventually.

Lara didn't get into Medicine. At least, not into a place she can easily afford. She found this out as I was driving her home, as her mother called her up about it.

She's completely and totally devastated. I didn't want to leave her, honestly, I didn't, but my mother needed the car back. Mum's going to drive me back up to her place. She has study, and I have assignment, but I am not going to be able to do this assignment unless I know Lara's safe.

And I'm honestly not sure that's the case. I'm not sure if Lara's capable of suicide, and this terrifies me. At least if I'm there, I can take care of her. Currently, jaquiej is at work, and the other two housemates don't tend to leave their rooms that much, so honestly, I'm not sure whether they're going to watch out for her. At least I can stay there for her.

She didn't even promise me that she wouldn't do anything rash today.

Quick Update Addendum

OK, I'm at Lara's place. Nothing untowards has happenned, thankfully. Lara's actually holding me now as I type this, and it looks like she's recovered admirably. Apparently, the vodka at her tableside helped considerably. Whoda thunk it?

The plus side of this is that I can just link to her journal when something big happens to her. Bonus! So often it's better to hear it from the mouth of the person who's experiencing it...
