Le Update

Well, it seems prudent to mention a few things:

• My classes are now finished for the semester!


• While in theory by now my assignments would be finished, I made the unfortunate mistake of thinking this week was week 12, instead of the week 13 that it actually was, thus forgot about the assignment that was due today until yesterday. I now have an extension until Monday, but this does mean I need to scramble to do a 3000-5000 word essay over the weekend...


• My old Flash drive died. Well, okay, it was dying, not dead. That said, I did take the opportunity to buy a new one before my data was unrecoverable. Guess it's not really much change, although my previous flash drive was also an MP3 player (which I don't really need anyway since I got the iPod). So, almost a downgrade.


• littlesir and Hannah have managed to find a room before Montclair is given over to the bulldozers. Which would be great, if I'd found one with them. This has the unfortunate problem of meaning that I'm highly unlikely to be able to organise a bunch of new people to find a place to live before I get thrown out of Montclair, and thus will have to move back into my parent's place. In theory, I still have until July 9th, but my last (and only) exam is on June 14th - and I will need to study hard for that one, as I've not attended many lectures this semester. And three weeks to organise a place to live... Difficult. Very difficult.
