Last night went to a Tournament Party - basically a party where there were a whole bunch of little round-robin game tournaments, and throughout the night you tried to get through all of them. Among the games were Connect 4, Mortal Combat, Darts, Thirteen, Singstar, Magic: The Gathering, Rock-Paper-Scissors, etc.
So, on most of these I bombed out by the second round, but I was pleased that I managed to get to at least the second round on most things, occaisionally further (although I bombed out in the first round of Singstar, because I was foolish enough to put myself against![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
geekweevil, who was certainly the superior singer. But it was not a total loss - I managed, somehow to completely win the Connect 4 tournament - yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am indeed a Connect 4 Winner! I even have the medal to prove it!
So, of course, I'm feeling exceptionally pleased with myself. I'm also seriously considering buying a copy of Connect 4 because I forgot exactly how fun and strategic the game actually is!
