Howdy Peoples! I've never been so glad to see rain in all my life! By the end, the daytime temperatures didn't get below 35C throughout our entire visit, so nice cold rain is a godsend!

But, first things first, the last Holiday Updates:

Day 9
Today we went to see my other friend in Adelaide, George Lukic. Fantastic serbian guy, if you see me, feel free to ask for some of the stories around this guy.

But anyway, me and Lara went into the City to meet him, and ended up going to a cinema video arcade to get out of the heat. We played a few games of Pool (Lara beat George both times), I played Galaxian again for old time's sakes, then we went to the Coffee Club in Rundle Mall for an Iced Strawberry (although he got a Strawberry Spritz. We sat, talked, enjoyed, and I am glad I don't run a club at the University of Adelaide - at least we don't have to spend an entire budget!

Day 10
Today, we stalked Aaron.

Well, kinda. Lara wanted to see Aaron again before we left, so me and Lara decided to meet him outside his TAFE. We were going to catch the public transport, but once again, my Nanna showed off her perfect timing, and managed to arrive at the exact moment we went through the door. So, she drove us down to Tea Tree Plaza.

It's probably a good thing she did, too, because as we were walking down, we managed to catch Aaron walking out of the TAFE (He'd gotten out really early...). So, me and Lara walked behind him for a few minutes to see if he'd noticed. Then I got bored and started shooting my water bottle at him. Still didn't notice (mostly due to poor aim). Only got his attention after 10 or so yells of his name. This is, apparently, typical...

Anyway, me and Lara stayed the night at his place, Aaron's girlfriend Emma came down with her relatives, and we all watched The Princess Bride (and may I say, it's refreshing to watch the film in simple stereo, as opposed to enforced 5.1 Surround Sound, curtesy of people around quoting every line. Afterwards, me and Aaron kept Lara up with debate on whether it's better to focus purely on a narrative, as opposed to absorbing OOC parts of a narrative. Then we slept.

Day 11
After having Breakfast with Aaron, me and Lara raced home to have showers and such, and then my other Grandparents picked us up for Lunch. My grandma had made a nice summer lunch (nothing hot, which was good considering the heat), then we had a nice chat on stuff happening.

After that, me and Lara went to Lara's relative's house again to say goodbye to them. Lara had wanted to see their cat before she left, but unfortunately, the landlord wouldn't let them keep the cat there, and the cat was at the Vet with a bad mouth ulcer anyway (poor thing).

Then, naturally, when me and Lara got home, we set stuff up to head home.

</holiday report>

Right, so now I'm back. Actually got into Melbourne Last night, but me and Lara decided to stay at Lara's, due to the fact that she could actually organise a pick-up from her station (my parents are still in Hawaii currently).

Now, I'm feeling fine.

Oh! And Meme alert. Those of you whom I've told of Nobilis may have heard of R. Sean Borgstrom. She happens to keep a weblog, where each day she posts something that's perfectly in her style. I'm subscribed to her RSS feed (it's [livejournal.com profile] hitherbydragons), but the actual website is http://rebecca.hitherby.com. Just the thing for your daily dose of surrealism...
