Quick Update
Sep. 3rd, 2004 09:39 pmThings are calming down, a little at any rate. With Masquerade Ball out of the way, I now have time to dedicate to such things as earning money, doing homework, and writing my game for Unicon.
Naturally, of course, since I let Masquerade Ball take over a whole week, I know find quite a few deadlines which were far close than I thought they were. My Scanning work isn't too much of a problem with deadlines (I never know what they are anyway, I just work as hard as I can to get them done fast), and now that I know how to scan books that have a footprint larger than the scanner, it's all pretty hunky-dory now (the solution is rather obvious - you only scan one page in at a time, as opposed to trying to scan in the whole footprint). My work at Midas Asia-Pacific would be hunky-dory too, if I'd remembered to tell my dad that I wanted to go to work today. Thus, I missed out on earning a good $120. I'm not entirely pleased.
Uni on the other hand... Psych Lab Report due in on Tuesday, I only just did the analysis on Wednesday, and I'm not even entirely sure what I'm supposed to be putting into this. I'm currently downloading as many of the articles in the Lab book as possible, and I intend to spend some time this weekend finding more articles. Also, I have a Psych Experiment to conduct. I have a couple of weeks on this one before we start the analysis, but that said, I still have to distribute all the questionnaires, and I'm not sure if I'll find the time. I may have to post on Korner or something, and put the list online to save time. Shouldn't be that difficult, really...
As for the Unicon game, The progress being made is minor at best - I know what the plot's basic structure is, but I'm still working on little details, like the Estates of the Nobles, the Names of the Estates of the Nobles, NPCs... Those little details that are kind of important to getting the game written. And it's not like it's trivial, either.
All of this is causing a lot of Kornerites to wonder why, after Masque Ball, I'm still stressing. They're not big things, but they're all things, and enough things are bound to give you problems. Add Lara to the mix... Well, things get worrisome quite quickly.
